The ultrasound showed normal appearing renal parenchyma and no hydronephrosis. This child has vesicoureteric reflux. Notice the contrast material filling the right ureter. The contrast does not fill the renal pelvis. Fortunately, this boy has rather mild reflux (grade I on a scale of I - VI). See an example of more severe reflux.

There is a very good chance that the reflux will resolve spontaneously. Most pediatric urologists would recommend prophylactic oral antibiotics until a follow-up VCUG documents resolution of the reflux.Good work, Doctor!
