Tuberculosis Spine
- White arrowheads point to normal intervertebral spaces.
- White arrow points to loss of the space.
- Black arrowheads point to normal end plates (white line). When infection sets in, the end plates are destroyed as the infection spreads from the joint. In malignancy, even with collapse of the vertebra, the end plates are preserved.
