Recurrent Squamous Cell Carcinoma

In addition to metastatic spread, squamous cell carcinomas may recur locally at a site of previous treatment. This recurrent SCC developed at the edge of a scar resulting from earlier treatment. The tissue blanche is due to epinephrine in the local anesthetic.
