As part of our
commitment to provide a broad education that will allow
students to pursue medical careers in a variety of opportunities
after graduation, interested students are encouraged to
take part in basic science or clinical research. As an academic
medical center, Loyola takes seriously its responsibility
to engage in research. National Institutes of Health funding
to Loyola has tripled in the last 10 years and reflects
our substantial commitment to biomedical research. Stritch
has an active summer research program facilitated by the
Office of Research Services.
