Animal
purchase orders will be assessed a processing charge
calculated as a percentage of the total purchase price.
The charges will be as follows: FY 01- 5%, FY 02 - 7%, FY
03 - 10%, FY 04 - 12%
Order
changes/adjustments are billed at 0.5 unit per order change
= $3.00.
All
charges are based on unit fees. Each unit is billed at $6.00
during noral business hours; $8.00 for weekend, holidays
and after-hours (4:30pm).
Outside
investigators add 26% to all charges listed below.

Charges
for Room 0637 (necropsy and terminal procedures) and Room
0635 (minor procedures, i.e. taking blood samples) will
be charged at a rate of $10.00 per hour usage.
Failure
to cancel O.R. space 24 hours prior to scheduled procedure
will result in a charge. There will also be a charge for
PI's arriving late for their scheduled time. Arrival for
your scheduled procedure 60 minutes after the sign up time
will result in a charge similar to that listed above and
in addition, your use will be cancelled and the surgical
room will be allocated to another user.
