Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a service facility capable of supporting excellent academic biomedical research programs while insuring humane care and treatment of all animals used in the university's educational and research programs. As a service center, the Comparative Medicine Facility participates heavily in the institution's overall mission of moral and humane education and supports faculty and student biomedical research, medical and graduate student education, post-graduate education and continuing medical education programs within the Medical Center.
