Loyola medical students inducted into Jesuit honor society

Students recognized for academic achievements
MAYWOOD, Ill. – Eight Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine students were among those inducted into the 2014 LUC chapter class of Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of higher education Jesuit institutions.

The induction took place on Sunday, Oct. 12, in Madonna Della Strada Chapel on the Lake Shore Campus. Michael J. Garanzini, S.J., formally introduced the inductees.

The following Stritch students were inducted:

Ashley DiLorenzo
Kristin Kalita
Kendall Kling
Christopher Low
Patrick Marcus
Emily Taylor
Giuseppe Toia

Juniors, seniors and graduate students who are academically in the top 15 percent of their class and who have a demonstrated record of service and loyalty to the Jesuit ideals of education are considered for membership.
