If any mass is felt describe its location, size, shape, consistency, delineation with surrounding tissue, tenderness and mobility.

• Single or multiple, round or lobular, well demarcated, movable.(Fibroadenoma, Cyst)
• Single, irregular, hard, ill defined, fixed to surrounding tissue (Cancer)
• Smooth , firm, mobile breast tissue (Gynecomastia)
• Hard fixed to ribs (Costochondral junction)
