Session Objectives:

At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the major structural components of running a physician practice group.
  2. Analyze trade-offs in costs, benefits, working conditions and mission effectiveness that typically confront physician practice groups.
  3. Analyze the major methods of financing health care in the U.S. and federal proposals for extending insurance coverage to those presently without it.
