Loyola University Medical Education Network Dissection of the Pelvis (Step 1)

Step 1
This initial step is a relatively short laboratory, but it gives you the opportunity to blunt dissect the visceral contents of the pelvis and appreciate their relationships with the pelvis intact. We will later bisect the pelvis to allow better exposure of many of the arteries and nerves, which makes it more difficult to appreciate the relationships of the viscera. Be patient.
Each of the steps in the dissection includes more specific instructions for the dissection of that step. The buttons below provide lists of all the structures that will be dissected in this session.
