Step 1
Saw through the back of the skull to expose the prevertebral region and pharynx.
Each of the steps in the dissection includes more specific instructions for the dissection of that step. The buttons below provide lists of all the structures that will be dissected in this session.

Step 2
Reflect the anterior portion of the skull onto the thorax. Open the posterior wall of the pharynx to view the interior structures. Clean the pharyngeal muscles, C.N. IX and contents of the carotid sheath.
