Each student researches a topic and presents findings supported by medical literature, including application to his/her patient, to an attending during the Surgery Clerkship rotation. The student presents his/her patient's case publically to the entire team. Presentations should last 10-20 minutes. After the presentation, the student gives the evaluation form to an attending. Students must document the question, research, and case in their portfolios.

The evaluation form and bibliography need to be returned to the Surgery Clerkship Medical Education Coordinator, Renata Barylowicz, in the SSOM Educational Affairs office, room 320 within one week after the presentation.
