Abnormal Finding

• Anal Tag
• Cystic mass or sinus tract in midline over coccyx. The infected sinus is tender, swollen and erythematous. (Pilonidal cyst or sinus)
• Fistulous opening in the skin around anus. (Anorectal fistula,  Peri anal fistula)
• Doughnut shaped protrusion in anus with red mucosa with concentrically circular folds. (Prolapse of Rectum)
• Tear
• Ulcer (Herpes, Syphilis, Cancer)
• Swollen, bluish mass visible at anal margin. When thrombosed could be tender and painful. ( External Hemorrhoid)
• Prolapsed Internal Hemorrhoids
• Painful, tender, indurated , reddened mass in perianal region. Soft and fluctuant, once abscess forms. (Perianal abscess)
• Acute Posterior Fissure
• Perianal Condyloma Acuminata
