- Small breasts: Underdevelopment.
- Asymmetry
- Normal variation
- Accessory axillary breast tissue
- Mass lesions: Flattening of skin or mass brought out by raising hands over head.. Dimpling brought out by hands pressed against hips or pushing hands together overhead.
- Edema from SVC syndrome with prominent collateral veins.
- Surgical excision (Scars, Surgical defects)
- Unilateral gynecomastia: Lung cancer, Drugs
- Contour
- Nipple
- Inversion (Normal, Cancer)
- Retraction and flattening (Suspect Cancer)
- Deviation (Suspect Cancer)
- Nipple discharge
- Bloody (cancer, Intraductal papilloma)
- Milk (Post pregnancy, Galactorrhea, Endogenous or Exogenous hormone)
- Non-Milk: Duct Ectasia
- Bloody: (Intraductal Papilloma, CA)
- Eczema (especially if unilateral)
- Accessory Nipple Accessory nipple can be seen along the line shown in the diagram.
