Method Of Exam

• Have the patient seated comfortably.
• Observe and describe the general appearance of the patient.
• Note the patient's sex, race, body build and any obvious deformities or distinguishing characteristics.
• State the development in relationship to chronological age, apparent state of health, apparent state of comfort and mental status.

• Include cognitive and spiritual assessment to identify problems related to mind and spirit
