• Skin (Basal cell carcinoma)
• Size: Small ears (Congenital anomalies of kidney)
• Lifting of ear lobes : Enlarged parotid glands, as a portion of the gland is just below the ear lobe. 
• Cartilage
  • Swollen, tender, red cartilage: ( Polychondritis)
  • Color: Bluish: Ochronosis 
• Pain on movement: (Acute otitis externa)
