Perfusion scan provides a better estimate of function of lung than ventilation. To estimate residual left lung function you can multiply FEV1 vol x % of perfusion of left lung.
1.8x0.60=1.08 Litres.
To tolerate pneumonectomy you should have at least 0.8 litres of FEV1 in the residual lung.
