Costal margin , lumbar fascia, ant two thirds of iliac crest and lat half of inguinal lig
Action
Supports abdominal wall, aids forced expiration and raising intraabdominal pressure. Conjoint tendon supports post wall of inguinal canal
Insertion
Aponeurosis of post and ant rectus sheath and conjoint tendon to pubic crest and pectineal line
Nerve
Ant primary rami(T7-12). Conjoint tendon ilioinguinal N (L1)
