My Approach to Treating Patients
Most (90%)of the injuries I treat heal with conservative treatment such as medication and physical therapy. Successful treatment therefore requires a motivated patient, an experienced athletic trainer or physical therapist, and a doctor who has treated these injuries many times in the past.

Surgery is the treatment of LAST resort in most cases. Recent developments in arthroscopic surgery help speed recovery and reduces the discomfort of many of these surgeries.

Workers suffer injuries similar to athletes, so I refer to them as "Industrial Athletes" and find that they respond well when you treat them like a sports star.

Other Staff in My Practice
Behind every successful doctor is an experienced staff.

  • Mrs. Julie Magallon (708-216-8730) is my "Right-hand Woman". She can help with most of your requests.
  • Mrs. Susan Maczak (708-216-5717) is my nurse and she is the other superstar in my office. Call her with any questions about your surgery or other medical questions.
