The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Journal

The Loyola Orthopaedic Journal is a copyrighted annual presentation by Loyola University Chicago. The Editor of the Journal is Michael Pinzur, MD, with Managing Editor Debora Pinzur. The Art Direction is by Patrick Carrico, MAMS The Journal has several goals:

  • Describes all ongoing research.
  • Highlights academic accomplishments of the graduating residents.
  • Provides a forum for presenting local ongoing research.
  • Provides a forum for presenting ongoing academic activities.

Articles for consideration in the Journal, should be submitted by January of the year of publication. The Journal will be distributed annually in June, at the Department’s Senior Thesis Day dinner. The Orthopaedic Journal has been submitted to Index Medicus for inclusion.
