The Department of Microbiology & Immunology provides two to the medical center's six core research facilities: the Core DNA Sequencing Facility, and the Transgenic/ Custom Surgical Services Core Facility. The Core DNA Sequencing Facility provides nucleic acid sequencing on a fee-for-service basis to the investigators of Loyola University Health System and unaffiliated researchers in the Midwest region. The Transgenic/ Custom Surgical Services Core Facility mission is to produce transgenic mice and provide experimental animal surgical services to support biomedical research. Additional Resources |
