Free Prostate Cancer Screening
Prostate cancer will kill more than 39,000 American men this year, but with early detection your chances of survival increase dramatically. Men should be screened for prostate cancer annually after the age of 50--earlier if they are African-American or have a family history of the disease.
To help fight prostate cancer,Loyola University Health Systemoffers free screenings annually--including a blood test and an exam by a physician. This screening is not recommended for men currently under the care of a urologist.
Appointment times are limited and registration is required. To find out about the next screening call (708) CAN-HELP (225-4357).
