Selected Research Initiatives:

  • Use of SURx laparoscopic probe for treatment of female stress incontinence: IDE pivotal investigation. Co-primary investigator (Loyola University).

  • Inhibition of scar formation after incision of ureteral strictures. Evaluation of a new animal model for ureteral strictures, as well post incision treatment with agents that inhibit scar formation and stimulate epithelial growth. (Loyola University)

  • Laparoscopic pyeloplasty using fibrin glue sealant in a porcine model. Evaluation of fibrin glue to aid in the anastomosis in a laparoscopic dismembered pyeloplasty. (Loyola University)
