Clinical Faculty: Thomas M.T. Turk, M.D.
Associate Professor of Urology

Philosophy of Patient Care: Urologic problems are often associated with significant pain and social embarrassment. Dr. Turk believes in listening to his patients about how their disease is affecting their life. When appropriate, Dr. Turk believes in using minimally invasive treatments for his patients to reduce pain and lead to a faster return to normal activities.

Subspecialty/Clinical Expertise: Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery, General Urology

Clinical/Research Interests: Stone disease, ureteral healing, minimally invasive surgery, urologic laparoscopy

Bio: Following his urology residency at the University of Virginia and fellowship in endourology at Loyola University Chicago, Dr. Turk joined the faculty at Loyola University. Since that time, he has built a practice of general urology patients with emphasis on using minimally invasive treatments for all aspect of urologic disease.
