She completed her Obstetrics/Gynecology residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and received her fellowship subspecialty training in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St.Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. FitzGerald is involved in the Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship program at Loyola Center, and has a variety of research interests across the full spectrum of female pelvic floor dysfunction. She has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research findings at national and international symposia related to this subspecialty.
