Teaching is a crucial part of the Loyola Urology Department's mission.

The faculty strives to provide the highest quality and most complete clinical training and research experiences to its residents in all areas of urology.

The department also offers fellowships in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Medical students are introduced to the field of urology through hands-on rotations.

Weekly and monthly conferences presented by faculty and visiting professors are another excellent teaching tool.

Attending urologists from Loyola and other teaching hospitals and private groups can keep current by attending CME courses the department sponsors.
