Philosophy of Patient Care
The women who seek care from me are given information and options about their conditions. Fortunately, most pelvic floor problems are not emergencies. A full range of treatment options is available, including muscle rehabilitation, biofeedback, electrical stimulation, vaginal devices and surgery.

Dr. Brubaker was recruited to Loyola to begin program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. This successful program joins the discipline of uro-gynecology and urology in order to expand the treatment choices available to women with pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence. Dr. Brubaker is an internationally recognized expert of female pelvic floor disorders. She is the co-editor of several books, and has written many medical articles on these topics. Dr. Brubaker, a native of the Chicago area, has remained here with her family.
