*This fee guarantees a minimum of 20 offspring obtained from a minimum of 100 implanted microinjected zygotes. Transgenic offspring cannot be guaranteed because the number of transgenic pups depends on the concentration, size and quality of the DNA provided for microinjection.

Zygotes from FVB mice will be used for microinjection. Specific arrangements can be made to use other strains of mice; however, there will be an additional charge to offset the cost of these mice.

Within two weeks after birth, tail samples from pups will be provided to the investigator for analysis. Two weeks after the tail samples are provided to the investigator, the mice will be transferred to an account of the investigator who will take on financial and scientific responsibility for the mice.  

$75/hour - 1 hour minimum. For large projects, the price is negotiable (price does not include room, animal purchase or other CMF charges).

Consulting/teaching by Dr. Sethupathi: $75/hr

• An approved IACUC protocol is required with Dr. Sethupathi listed as the surgeon.
