Prerequisite: Completion of Surgery clerkship.
Special Note: None 
Description: This elective will introduce the student to the principles of urology, basics of urologic disease, diagnostic approaches and the treatment of urologic problems. Emphasis will be placed on giving the student a working knowledge of common urologic problems, i.e. urinary tract infections, obstructive uropathy, urolithiasis, tumors and congenital defects. The Urology Service at Foster G. McGaw and Hines will be utilized.
Method of Evaluation: Evaluation will be on the basis of the student's overall participation on the service.
