Special Note: None 
Description: This elective offers experience in emergency evaluation and management of acutely sick and injured children. During this rotation the student will be able to independently interview and examine Emergency Department patients and then discuss their assessment and plan with a Pediatric Emergency Medicine attending. Depending on the available patients, the student will learn procedures such as: intravenous catheter placement, arterial blood sampling, lumbar puncture and others.
Method of Evaluation: Evaluation will be based on student's participation and evidence of reading assigned and independent materials.
