Prerequisite: Completion of Medicine clerkship.  
Special Note:  
Description: Medical students will learn gross dissection of specimens, frozen sections, and microscopic examination of surgical cases. 2-3 days will be spent learning cytopathology which includes fine needle aspirations. The student will observe at least 2 autopsies. In addition, based on the student's interest, subspecialty education in areas such as dermatopathology, pulmonary and pediatric pathology, image analysis and molecular techniques can be incorporated into the elective.
Method of Evaluation: Attendance, overall performance, and case presentation.
