Prerequisite: Available to third and fourth year students; open to SSOM students only.   
Special Note: On the first day of the rotation, report to Refugio Aldaz at 8:30 a.m. in Bldg. 1, Room E256 at HVA and page the Fellow on this service for directions.
Description: This elective provides broad exposure to adult chest diseases and pulmonary procedures. The student will assist with pulmonary consultations throughout the hospital with direct supervision and teaching by the pulmonary attending, fellow and resident. The student will attend several weekly Pulmonary Conferences (some combined with Loyola), assist the pulmonary fellow in procedures, and learn the theory and practice of pulmonary function testing.
Method of Evaluation: Written evaluation by faculty member.
