Prerequisite: Available to third and fourth year students.
Special Note:

Dermatology clinics are held at the LaGrange satellite; the student must provide his/her own transportation to this site.

On the first day of the rotation, report to Donna at 8AM in Bldg. 54, Rm. 101.

Description:

The student will be expected to attend daily clinics and conferences. In addition, there will be required reading with the text provided. The student should gain familiarity with basic dermatology techniques such as biopsies, KOH preps, and DFAs. This is a full time elective and the student will be expected to approach the elective as such.

Method of Evaluation:

Evaluation is based on clinical performance, written examination results, and evidence of scholarly conduct.
