| Description: |
The student in the graphics laboratory will be offered an intense experience in all types of noninvasive cardiological techniques: ECG and complex arrhythmia analysis, multistage exercise testing, Holter monitor interpretation, and echocardiography. The student will be expected to read appropriate electrocardiographic textbooks (Marriott, Chou), participate actively on "reading-rounds", and attend the Tuesday ECHO/EKG/EPS 7:30 a.m. conference and the Thursday 11:30 echo conference. The student's goal is to understand the correlation of all graphic techniques with cardiac disease. |

Evaluation is based on interview/conference with student at close of elective. An objective test may be required at the discretion of the supervising attending. |
