- Race and Genomics in Cardiovascular Research
Discussions of racial/ethnic health disparities inevitably involve a discussion of the role of genetics. This material summarizes controversial evidence related to phenotype distributions, genetics susceptibility and population genetics.
- Eliminate CVD in the 21st Century
The potential now exists to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease to very low levels- probably 5% of current mortality rates. Background material on epidemiology and prevention of CVD is presented in this set of slides.
