The Master’s Program in Clinical Research Methods is a two-year program which combines evening class work with mentored research in order to provide students with the skills needed to become an independent clinical researcher. The Loyola Masters of Science in Clinical Research Methods Program includes classes on Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Clinical Trials along with supervised computer lab work in conjunction with research mentoring.
Each course lasts 10 weeks, and classes are held in the evenings once a week from 6-9 p.m. A total of 24 credit hours and a completed research project are required for completion of degree.
The research project is the culminating experience of the Master’s program and will require each student to design a clinical research proposal or completion of a research project.
This program embraces the variety of clinical and research experience each student brings to the program, and each student will be encouraged to pursue their own clinical research interests.
