Residents at Play
Because balance is such a critical aspect of residents' lives, we try to
provide opportunities for socialization outside the workplace.
Book clubs, restaurant clubs, attendance at sporting events and
parties are examples of such opportunities.
Individual classes have been very creative in planning
social events for themselves that also include spouses and significant
others.
There is an annual resident holiday party where all residents are able to attend as the faculty provides coverage for the inpatient services (NICU, PICU, Nursery, ED, and Ward). Finally there are other departmental events to which the residents are invited.
