Information for each test consists of the test code, the type of tube to
be used, and other pertinent information about collecting the sample;
e.g., patient preparation, specimen collection and handling procedures,
and how often and by what method the tests are performed in our
laboratories.
The Phlebotomy Procedures Manual contains procedures for
performing blood collection for laboratory testing.
