Salary and Benefits

Stipends (2008-2009):

  • PGY1 - $42,898
  • PGY2 - $44,627
  • PGY3 - $46,818
  • PGY4 - $48,417
  • PGY5 - $50,240
  • PGY6 - $51,427
  • PGY7 - $54,008

Vacation:
Residents and fellow are given 15 working days annually, these are to be scheduled by mutual agreement with the resident/fellow, the rotation section chief and program director.

Malpractice:
Professional liability coverage is through Loyola’s self-insurance program for all residency-associated activities.

Medical/Dental/Life Insurance:
Individual Blue Cross/Blue Shield and major medical coverage, dental plan, and long-term disability and life insurance are available. Insurance coverage for dependents also is available.

Educational Leave:
Educational leave is available for residents and fellows to be arranged by mutual agreement with the resident/fellow, the rotation section chief and program director.
