CLINICAL HISTORY
82-year-old man with a
past medical history of colon cancer presented with gross hematuria in 2005,
which originally responded to a couple of courses of antibiotics. He
underwent cystoscopy with laser TURP/fulguration of the prostate,
for evaluation of his hematuria. A TRUS with prostate biopsy in
early 2006 was performed for elevated PSA, which revealed
adenocarcinoma, Gleason score 4+4=8. A non-contrast CT showed a
thickened bladder and an ill-defined low density lesion in the upper
pole of the right kidney with enlarged IVC and peri-caval
lymphadenopathy. A CT guided
FNA of the renal lesion was performed.
