Kamil Muzaffar, MD
Associate Professor
Dr. Muzaffar graduated from the King Edward Medical College in Lahore in 1967. He trained in both General Surgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, completing his residency in Otolaryngology in 1974. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of both the American College and the Royal College of Surgeons. He is the former Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and an internationally recognized otolaryngologist.
In 1997, Dr. Muzaffar joined Loyola’s Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Hines Veterans Administration Hospital. His practice there encompassed all aspects of otology, nasal/sinus and head and neck surgery. To better serve the needs of our patients, Dr. Muzaffar will be expanding his practice into the Loyola University Health System, with office hours at the Hickory Hills Primary Care Center.
The author of over 20 publications in all aspects of the field, Dr. Muzzafar brings a significant clinical experience in all aspects of adult and pediatric general otolaryngology-head & neck surgery.
