The seventeenth annual Ophthalmology Resident-Alumni Day on June 17, 2006 at the Stritch School of Medicine featured some of the department’s most promising research. Aveen Banich, MD, organized the daylong program.

William F. Mieler, MD, Professor and Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, University of Chicago delivered the James E. McDonald keynote lecture "Endophthalmitis Update 2006."
