Residency
E-Value Web Monitoring
E-Value Web Monitoring
E-Value is an on-line computer program created by Advanced Informatics for use by Loyola Medicine to track all of its resident programs system-wide. The program is used for tracking many aspects of the resident program including core competencies, rotations, evaluations, and duty hours.

Ophthalmology residents and attendings alike have become most acquainted with E-Value at the end of each rotation. Attendings are required to evaluate residents performance on E-Value, and residents are required to use E-Value to evaluate their supervising attendings and also the rotation itself at rotation-end. At the conclusion of each academic year, residents give their evaluation of the Opthhalmology resident program using this vehicle. All evaluations submitted by residents are anonymous.
