Annual Fall Cataract / Glaucoma Symposium
The Annual Fall Cataract / Glaucoma Symposium consists of the Arthur Light, MD, Memorial Lectureship in Ophthalmology and the John J. Skowron, MD, Distinguished Professorship.

The Arthur Light, MD, Memorial Lectureship in Ophthalmology features a prominent expert in glaucoma and was established by the generous contributions of the Light family.

The John J. Skowron, MD, Distinguished Visiting Professorship features a prominent subspecialist in ophthalmology who discusses a current topic in their field. Faculty and residents alike benefit from the lectureship established through Dr. Skowron’s generosity, and the Department of Ophthalmology is deeply grateful for his support.

Lively panel discussions follow the keynote lectures and present both the academic medical center perspective and community practice perspective in response to a variety of discussion topics.
