Chicago Ophthalmology Society Beem Fisher Award Each year the Chicago Ophthalmological Society (COS) solicits papers from area residents. The resident who submits the paper deemed to be best in terms of research techniques, writing quality, and clinical or scientific relevance is awarded the Beem-Fisher Award.
For the 2011 Beem-Fisher competition the review committee reported that all of the submissions were excellent, making the choice even more difficult. Your work is commendable, and we are glad you submitted a paper for consideration.
