In December 2006, Dr. Emerick wrote the department a short letter updating us on his current endeavors. He wrote: Happy Holidays 2006. We hope all is well with you. We have had a good year for which we are grateful. In July we made a big change by moving from Chicago to West Hartford, Connecticut. We loved Chicago and it will always be a special place for us but it was time for a new chapter ... you know - school, backyard, pets, etc. We are settling in and enjoy our new jobs, home and town. Best wishes for 2007, Geoff, Karan, Britt (4 years old) and Cate (22 months).
