FOCUS is an annual ophthalmic clinical conference held at Loyola University Medical Center.  FOCUS is sponsored and coordinated by the Association of Chicago land Ophthalmic Registered Nurses (ACORN).  Nancy Quandt RN, BSN, CRNO, is the president of ACORN and is the administrator of FOCUS.  The purpose of FOCUS is to educate ophthalmic nurses and technicians in clinical and surgical settings.  FOCUS provides contact hours for RNs and CEUs for ophthalmic technicians.  FOCUS covers both clinical and surgical topics from various subspecialties including, but not limited to, retina, oculoplastics and cornea.
