Kimberly Kenton,
MD, MS, FACS, FACOG

Dr.
Kenton is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist, who completed
an accredited fellowship in Female
Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola. She is an
Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology. Dr
Kenton assumed the role of fellowship director in 2007 after coordinating
the division’s educational conferences and curriculum for several
years. She is passionate about surgical education and leads our
laparoscopic and robotic reconstructive surgery program. She also has
special training and expertise in neurophysiologic testing of the pelvic
floor, including needle EMG, nerve conduction studies, and sensory testing
in the pelvis. She is the primary investigator on an NIH grant exploring
the role of neuromuscular dysfunction in stress incontinence as well as
co-primary investigator in a large NIH funded clinical trials network.
Linda Brubaker, MD, MS, FACS, FACOG
Dr. Brubaker is a board-certified
obstetrician-gynecologist with fellowship training in urogynecology, and is
an international leader in female pelvic floor disorders. She has
successfully mentored numerous fellows in Female
Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, nearly all of whom remain
active in academic medicine. A list of prior graduates is provided on our fellows
page. Her commitment to training exceptional reconstructive surgeons is
further emphasized by her creation of a uniquely integrated division, which
provides regular exposure to diverse urogynecologic and urologic
procedures. In addition to directing the fellowship and division of Female
Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Brubaker is a Professor
of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology. She is also an Assistant Dean of
Clinical and Translational Research and the primary investigator on
numerous NIH grants.
Mary Pat FitzGerald, MD, MS, FACS,
FACOG
Dr.
FitzGerald is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist, who completed an
accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
at Rush University. She is currently
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology. She is an avid
researcher and investigator on several NIH grants with special interests in
translational and interdisciplinary research, in surgical innovation,
neuromodulation and nocturia. Dr. Fitzgerald
is the Division’s Research Director and helps oversee the fellows’
research program.
Elizabeth Mueller, MD, MS
Dr. Mueller is a board certified
urologist, who completed her accredited fellowship in Female
Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Loyola. She is an
Assistant Professor in Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mueller
brings the expertise and experience of her urologic training to the daily
care of our patients and education of our fellows. Her special interests
include surgical anatomy, urodynamics, and 3-dimensional pelvic floor
ultrasound. She successfully united her special interests and enthusiasm
for teaching and education to develop several novel teaching tools,
including an integrated, surgical anatomy lecture and dissection series for
gynecology and urology residents and a formal, nationally accepted
educational curriculum on urodynamics for urology residents. She is an NIH
funded investigator.
