How You Can Help
ISI does not work without the generous donations of time, money,
and goods we receive from our sponsors. If you would like to support
our trips, please consider one of the following options.
ISI Auction Donations:
A great deal of our funds for ISI come from the auction we hold
at the Stritch School of Medicine in February. Donated items in
the past have included sports tickets (Cubs, White Sox, Bears, Bulls),
restaurants, hotel stays, vacations, and gift certificates. If you
would like to speak to someone about a donation, please call University
Ministry at (708) 216-3245. All donations are tax-deductible.
Monetary Donations:
Another great way to support ISI is with a direct monetary donation.
The cost of the trips is approximately $100.00 per student per day.
Any amount you donate will help both the medical students and the
people who will receive free medical care at the ISI sites. All donations are tax-deductible. Checks should be made payable to “Loyola University Chicago”
and sent to University Ministry at the address listed below. You
may also call (708) 216-3245 or visit our
donations site
to make a secure credit card dontation. If you are making an online donation, after selecting the radio button “Direct my gift to the following area”, please be sure to type “International Service Immersion”. Also please put the name of the student you are acquainted with in the box that says “What is your affiliation to Loyola University Health System - Other”.
Medical Supplies Donations:
The care we can provide on ISI is largely dependant on the supplies
we can bring with us. If you think you might be able to donate medical
supplies, please contact Mike Laurent in University Ministry at
(708) 216-3245.
