In order to bid, you must register to get a bidder number.
Once you are approved as a bidder, you will receive an email with a bidder number. You must use this bidder number in order to place valid bids. If you choose to attend the actual auction, please use this same bidder number to bid on any items.
You may place a bid for any of the auction items displayed on this website in 1 of 2 ways.
Click on "Bid on this Item" and enter a bid at least 1 minimum bid increment above the current high bid.
Click on "Enter a Maximum Bid" and we will bid on this item on your behalf, increasing the bids by the minimum bid increment until we reach your maximum. We will only bid on your behalf if you choose "Enter a Maximum Bid."
The online auction will open on February 2, 2009 and will close at 3:00 PM CST on Friday, February 13, 2009. Items on the online auction will only be available online.
If you place a maximum bid and that amount is not reached by 3:00PM CST on Friday, February 13, 2009, you will win the item for one bid increment above the current top bid by another bidder. In this way, if you choose "Enter a Maximum Bid," your final bid may or may not reach your maximum bid.
You will be contacted via email or phone on Friday, February 13, 2009 if you have placed the successful winning bid for any item. All sales are final. Please think carefully about the amount you wish to bid and consider your bid a contract for payment if you should win an auction item. Payment for the purchase of items may be made by credit card (Mastercard/VISA/Discover), by personal check, by money order, or by cash. Credit card payments can only be accepted through Friday, February
20th.
Arrangements for item pick-up (if possible) can be made by calling the Medical School Ministry office at: (708) 216-3245. Successful online bidders will be responsible for any shipping charges incurred.
